Marc Hoffmeister, an established Certified Physician Assistant, is a provider at Cherryvale Family Medicine recently purchased by Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Hoffmeister, has built his practice in Cherryvale over the past 25 years and enjoys the patient centered care he can provide in a rural health clinic.
Hoffmeister, as a Physician Assistant, can diagnose and treat illnesses, conduct physical exams, order and interpret tests, develop treatment plans, counsel on preventative care, write prescriptions, and make rounds in the hospital and nursing homes.
Hoffmeister attended Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas, where he received his Bachelor of Health Science (BHS) in Physician Assistant. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma Christian University, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Kansas Academy of Physician Assistants.
He received the 2015 Professional Research Consultant (PRC) 5-star Excellence Award, and was ranked in the top ten percent nationally of provider services/overall quality of care.
Hoffmeister is registered by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified National Commission on Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA), licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, and certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Prior to Wilson Medical Center owning the Cherryvale Clinic Hoffmeister worked for Mercy Medical Clinic from 1991 to December 2015 and their Urgent Care Center. Before 1991 he practiced at Tri-Cities Medical Clinic/ Wewoka Memorial Hospital/Wewoka, Oklahoma.
